Exciting times are ahead in Kislingbury as The Temperance Bar, formerly known as the Drunken Duck, officially unveils its fresh new identity following a full interior fit-out and complete rebrand.
The transformation marks a major step forward for the venue, giving the community a modern, welcoming space to enjoy everything from match-day celebrations and live sports screenings to private event hire. With its stylish new look and expanded offering, The Temperance Bar is set to become a real social hub for the village and surrounding areas.
Club President Steve Tysoe proudly enjoyed the very first pint pulled in the newly refurbished bar. Speaking about the relaunch, Steve said:
This is a fantastic moment for the club and the wider community. The new-look bar is something everyone can be proud of, it’s a fresh start, and we’re excited to welcome people in to enjoy everything it has to offer. With the cricket season about to begin as well, there’s a real sense of momentum around the club.
STEVE TYSOE, CLUB PRESIDENT
And that momentum couldn’t come at a better time. The cricket season is just around the corner, and expectations are high across all teams as preparations continue for what promises to be a strong and exciting year on the field.
The club isn’t stopping there either, alongside the launch of the new bar, both the Cricket Club and The Temperance Bar now have a brand-new online home at www.thetemperanceclub.co.uk, making it easier than ever for members, supporters and visitors to stay connected.
For Kislingbury, it’s a positive investment in the community’s future, bringing people together through sport, social events, and a renewed sense of local pride.
